There are five different toe cast-ons, three heel turns, and four bind-offs included. Each of the twenty-three sock patterns utilizes several different but interchangeable approaches. This attractive book is written in a clear and concise manner. The instructions are clearly presented with excellent page layouts and choices of typefaces and colors, and colorful photographs which highlight the finished patterns. Ms. Johnson also has a follow-up book in the works to be published shortly. SO.
