Annot his beloved is caught in the middle of this ugly battle and she believes that has soon as the veiled prince is able to capture Greyrock, she will be killed. With that knowledge she knows that she must escape before it is too late. Her capture was not done easily but her companion was killed in the process now Annot must find a way but how can she when she was hurt badly and her head show an ugly bruised that sometimes does not allow her to even stand. When the tower she is held prisoner is set on fire Annot is able to escape to safety but she is not able to communicate with Greyrock and he believes her dead.

Now the question is will she be able to find a way to save him before he is killed in battle with the evil veiled prince or will she lose him to the schemes of the group named the Yehillon.

This is book three of the series The Warlocks of Talverdin. the book does stand alone and is an exciting read. However, to be able to see the whole picture developing it would be good to read the first two book as the characters are a big part of the books. MD
