Geometry simplified and explained.  This volume explains theories and shows easy-to-understand examples of formulae and how they work.   This well laid out and interesting volume presents major geometric concepts in a easy-to-understand format, explaining each example and formula, and showing how to come up with the answer to the problem.  While some knowledge of the subject matter is required, this will be a good book for reference and can be used by students as well as teachers in developing math concepts.  Words are defined as they occur, and concepts are reinforced at the bottom of each page.  Cartoon-like illustrations give humor and encouragement.  Bibliographical references and an index complete the volume.  Clear concise and useful.
Math Smarts (Enslow)    This book is part of the Math Smarts series.  There are 4 books in the series at this time.  The overall theme of the series is the presentation of mathematical ideas and formulae in an easy-to-understand format tor younger readers.    Geometry    Pat Naismith
