If Charlie could just play basketball
and have his team win every time, he would be a happy guy. His other thought is that it would be
nice if his family got back together again, but that part is not going to happen. Plus, no one believes that Charlie and his
friend Nate are buddies because Nate is a science nerd and is involved in
robotics. Now the cheerleaders
and the robotics team are in a deadlock fight for school funds, and the only way to
control the money is to become class president. The cheerleaders nominate Charlie, and Nate chooses to run against Charlie. The problem is that Charlie is not
interested in running at all.
How can he get out of the middle of this fight between the cheerleaders and the robotics team without losing his good friends or his basketball team members?
The plan is simple -- just leave it in the hands of the cheerleaders and the robotics team, and maybe together they can come up with a solution.
This is a very funny and warm graphic novel about teenagers trying to solve
their
problems in a constructive manner.
Summary: All Charlie has ever wanted is to play basketball and to have his
family back together. So how did he get in the middle of a fight for school
funds and class president in which the battles lines have been drawn?
