This companion book to The Girl Who Could Fly picks right up where the previous left off. Conrad is living on Piper’s farm, and soon the group of exceptional children is reunited there, having escaped from the evil Dr. Hellion and her school. Once the group is together, its members become aware of disasters occurring around the world. When Piper’s father nearly dies and Conrad’s father begins running for president, the group discovers that uniting their unique powers will allow them to stop the disasters and help them discover who is actually causing them.
