Young Princess Olivia finds that life in the Genovian Royal
Palace is anything but calm, especially when her sister Mia is planning a
wedding, and her Grandmother has other plans. In
this second book of a relatively new series by Meg Cabot, the
reader continues
following young Princess Olivia as she tries
to adjust to life as a royal princess in the palace and a
middle-school student. Much like Meg Cabot’s
earlier Genovian protagonist, young Mia has a lot to learn and
adjust
to, while simultaneously being a regular teenage
girl. The author does a very good job bringing humor to the books, and for
those that loved the Princess Diaries books, this is sure to be a
welcome read. Highly recommended for inclusion in any middle
school and possibly elementary school libraries.
Summary: Young Princess Olivia finds that life in
the Genovian Royal Palace is anything but calm, especially when her sister Mia
is planning a wedding, and her Grandmother has other plans.
