This well-illustrated book discusses the various types of
rashes that children are likely
to get, with tips on avoidance and treatment as well. This is a good little
book for the elementary set on the types of skin rashes that
most children will
encounter ... measles rashes, poison ivy, etcetera. The illustrations are
photographs, with good visuals on the rashes themselves as
well as regular-
looking kids coping with them. ╥In the Spotlight╙
features zero in on sidebar
issues, and new vocabulary words are bold-faced and listed
in the glossary.
This is a good introduction to the subject for younger
researchers. The
sentences are short, the type is easy-to-read, and the
format is inviting. The
websites are pretty good. This
is part of the Head-to-Toe Health series for
elementary students. Kennedy,
Carol
