This book is perfect for middle-school readers; girls and boys alike will love reading these short biographies about fifty women who changed the world for all the women to come. Readers will recognize many of them, such as Serena Williams, Hillary Clinton, and Pocahontas, but also get to read about amazing women they may never have heard of, such as astronomer Annie Jump Cannon and environmentalist Rachel Carson.
